Polymer Clay Swirled Heart Jewelry

I've been still making hearts and these are some experiments doing swirls for the hearts. I'm still enjoying that process.

Turquoise and brass heart necklace

I added polymer clay in a turquoise shade to the filigree brass heart. It's just a matter of pressing the clay into the filigree and baking for the proper time.

Gold leaf necklace

I have some real gold leaf, from Germany, that's about a 100 years old. I decided to start using that for making some jewelry. Here's an example of one that I created.

I made this out of a couple of vintage necklaces that I thought were rather goofy by themselves. Lousy pic-should have straightened it. :)
